The last few days of May see Mercury retrograde until the third week of June, possibly causing delays, uncertainties, or irksome loose ends. It would be wise to note that these may not be entirely your doing: people around you with whom you have significant dealings might be contributing to the cause. But it’s as well to realize that these need to be sorted properly if they are not to reoccur in September or October under another similar heading and involving a more crucial element. The issues may be ones lingering or left over from January and February and simply needing clarification or action of one sort or another. Or could they be the echo of your own wavering choices you can’t believe you have to make? Don’t worry, July presents the bottom line of the obstacles, whilst the first half of August gives the idea - if not the means - to clear them.

With Jupiter paused now in the area of your lifestyle choices or social activity, you may prefer to take stock of some of the more solid offers and connections presented over the first part of the year, to see if they really would suit you. You will be expected to step up to the plate by December and unless you get yourself viably discounted from proceedings you could be in an awkward position. It is better to speak up than to mess up, so make yourself heard if possible before the middle of August.

The fact that the middle of May brings popularity within alliances of one sort or another is obviously good, but not if it becomes a weary track rather than a path of pleasure.

In August partnerships shape and move as a result of a new found sincerity, or maybe as a result of the exposure of some other ingredient merely masquerading as that. Use your discernment here!

It must be one of the most radical summers for many Pisceans. Now that Mars is leaving a highly personal place within your solar chart the changes in the way you feel about some situations are clear. Feeling is one thing and trust is another. If you have trust with love then nothing can be in your way for long! If not, then love is not enough. It is time to accept the full picture as it has been illuminated, and although it’s very different to what you had hoped or believed for a good while, it has to be understood that we only get to know what we can deal with at any time. Partners and others close by will be working hard on your behalf in July and August, and they may also be making you work hard too. But the outcome in September will - as a result of this - give wider opportunity or easier methods of getting by and getting on. Either by building bridges or burning them. What has been a mere proposed plan since last autumn has to be shelved or actioned, and what has been steadily worked at since then must now show results and go to the next level. It might be hard to see how it is happening or how it connects with certain projects, but the truth of matters is in there somewhere.

Autumn update

The fact that all the personal planets in libra fall in the area of your solar chart concerned with exchanges and co-operation with others is compounded by the retrograde motion of Mercury in the last week of September. This means that until the middle of October certain issues go around the block or get complicated by too many diverse opinions. Too many cooks spoiling the broth is a possibility, but yet another contradictory one is that a group effort can carry you further than a single-handed attempt. A lot must depends on what was left unmended or unattended in late May and early June when Mercury retrograded in gemini. There might be a smooth passage now to more powerful terms and easier understanding. Or there might be a political stand-off in which those involved find themselves forming into two or more factions from which much information must be assessed and assimilated. October is the sort of period when you might find surprising attractions forming with people you would not normally expect to like, let alone wish to form bonds with, but strange things happen when you set foot in unfamiliar places with the intention of widening your knowledge!

The Saturn placing in your opposite sign of virgo may be still creating either challenging situations or ones that feel static and restricting. This could have little to do with those close to you and more to do with the circumstances you have created around you. But still the effect has to be dealt with and faced. The difficult decisions of July should have better equipped you to go forward now without the cumbersome debts or entailments of earlier in the year. The freedom to delegate, distribute or parse your time leads to a more flexible path and one which inspires greater confidence in those whose support or input you need. Again, we would say that the most unexpected encounters or the unlikeliest people are the ones to watch, rather than the tried and tested old pals brigade who might actually lead you on false trails in the hope of being helpful. It is the thought that counts, we know, but if time is of the essence then you can’t afford to waste it. Be aware of those who know the most in November so that they can take you past the point of realization reached in May and to the actual nub of the issues dearest to you as December folds the year.
