Jupiter is paused now for review of your vocational choices and obligations until September. The build up in the first four months of this year will be seen by you as a steadying of your fears and insecurities. If not, it could feel like a wall of impenetrable responsibilities - in which case, you need to think about delegating, dispersing or disposing of some of these in time for September when the chance to lessen your load is at hand. Arbitration or better communication is the key.

July is when you will be testing the foundations of what is being built financially, and obstacles presented then can be transformed into building blocks if properly blended into the landscape rather than destroyed or ignored.

With Saturn in the area of the solar chart dealing with money and security, and remaining there until the end of next year, the accent is on self motivation and financial integrity. Times can be tough but that doesn’t mean to say that they are not enjoyable - or fruitful!

The constraints and pressures of the ensuing months upon your ability to conserve may or may not be within your power to control, but they will force you to bring initiative and resolve to the brew. The time for leaving major decisions or opinions to others is past. The time for being too laid back or easy-going is also gone.

Unless you are a professional conjurer, making things look easy is not the best way to inspire confidence in your performance. Those with sway or influence need to see you break a sweat as you produce whatever you are best at.

July and August present the opportunity to show the stamina and the steel, and this is met more than halfway by people who know what they want and appreciate the best in whoever provides it. As summer turns the corner to autumn the message is clear: don’t make an extravaganza out of a mere demonstration, and don’t let an extenuating circumstance become a drama.

The presence of Mars in your sign through May and June will bring your more energetic urges to the fore. And this, of course, will cover a multitude of sins. But with challenging aspects to Venus in May it could also make you too dogmatic or inflexible, and too fixated on having your own way. Try not to mistake aggression for positive attitude. To do so will bring chilly atmospheres and setbacks, in turn bringing the need for possibly precipitous action on some of the issues you’ve been battling with since late last year. More pace and consideration is a better way within these. Or you could be so busy defending your position that you don’t recognize the signs of reconciling forces begging alinement with the former plans of January/February.

No-one is going to make you prove your position or urge you into firmer choices until July, so you may as well relax more and be who you want to be - especially who you enjoyed being at the start of an exploit last year when your intentions were clear and your motives direct

Autumn update

All the personal planets in libra in your third solar house in September impact on your immediate environment and your friendships, so the outlook on the social or more domestic front is one of having to get it right amid a plethora of events and happenings which could see you stretched to meet demands. Of course, it is all a matter of degree - so what is a big deal to one person is ‘small potatoes’ to the next; some people feel stressed if they have too many t.v. channels to choose from. But it’s better to have a feast than a famine, and if you don’t get at least a good dose of social moral boosting out of the autumn months then it’s because you refuse to give up a work schedule or pressing duties of another nature, and that is entirely your choice. The retrograde aspect of Mercury at the end of September is going to slow things down a bit, brew up a complicated situation between allies or associates and perhaps lead you to look at a new arrangement - never before considered - which bodes favourably for you in exchange for time and effort. This should not be vetoed immediately because it could open up better fields of communication or partnership as next year gets underway. It will be apparent in mid-October where to backtrack or re-negotiate, and with whom you need to be more careful where trust is concerned.

Now that August is out of the way you can expect to have a slightly easier time in matters of finance and expenditure, but only because the picture is clearer and what is prohibited is off the menu. It is daunting but there is a great deal of relief involved if you are honest. Everyone is on a more level playing field so pretence is unnecessary.

Careful speculation in October gives rise to more optimism in November. Strategic handling of smaller amounts of money can then bring a measure of advancement through to greater progress in domestic or personal situations requiring financial input. This can be used as a springboard to stronger upgrade in February 09. Take it carefully is the message and see that some of the restrictions of the spring of this year are actually a blessing if you take the long view. Especially if you detect a hidden flaw that would have undone the plan had it not been revealed. Sometimes it’s hard to see that the Universe unfolds as it is meant to unfold, because we misinterpret what we are doing within it. A lot of times in life things go right only because they firstly went wrong. It takes a wise person to accept that, and an even stronger one to make the most of it and turn the dross into gold. Such is the heart of the leo subject on occasions. Maybe this is exactly one of these times, up until the end of the year!
