The fact that in May Venus is cruising through the area of your solar chart affecting earnings and personal security, and at the end of the month forging a difficult link with Neptune, means that you could eventually be a little prone to disappointment when plans don’t come to fruition. It may also mean those same plans go beyond your affordability in either time or money. May/June is not the best period in which to be overly daring or indifferent in your attitudes to communications. Although some of these are people with whom you may think you are only casually acquainted they too have their sensitivities, and you cannot under-estimate the confusions or cross-purposes that could result from being less than thorough about your intentions in June. It is a time when the results of effort and hard work are apparent, so you don’t want to screw up proceedings by getting on the wrong side of the right people.

Not being out of touch with the core of what you’re doing requires diligence in thought as well as in practical matters, as your creativity relies on greater insights bringing you greater rewards. Demand a hearing for these in July even if it means confrontation; you can’t make an omelette etc, etc ...

Your overriding need to prove something about yourself this spring, and to have the approval of pier group and superior alike, will lead to a challenge which can’t be ignored in July . Decide now whether you want the responsibility, or whether you want to gain the ground in some other way.

There are no short-cuts to this kind of success, but what is begun in May has to be in earnest. To be accurate, it has been developing deeper roots over the previous four months whether you realize it or not. And the fact that something is not so easily dislodged or broken after May is testimony to the durability of loyalties and causes close to your heart, as the months role on to mid-summer.

With Jupiter in capricorn and Saturn in virgo the climate for you is one of substantial progress this year. Keep in mind that you also are entitled to demand realism and practicality to anyone having expectations of you or working towards the same goals. Facts you find either thrilling or daunting! but these nevertheless are ones you need to cement the framework of any new career moves! or even just new pathways to more worldly pursuits of the miscellaneous variety.

Not all hopes and schemes can be quantified for the identification of those round about. Some things have to be left to acquire a niche of their own and to ripen in their own good time.

Autumn update

Some of you born in the first twenty days of the sign will find the ever optimistic influence of Jupiter in your solar chart is in dispute with your more daring side until the balance between commons sense the desire for freedom has been settled. This is something which has to be done by January, and if it isn’t then the first two months of the new year sweep all before you and you must stick with the choices made. It might be better to work now on solidifying your position on the home front - whether it be with family or with those whom you spend the brunt of your time. To not be seen to show due respect or affection is to risk delays and wrangles at the end of September and through the first half of October as Mercury retrogrades and highlights possible misunderstandings or problems concerning and with regard to those significant others whom you cannot ignore or walk away from.

If problems in May and June were left to dangle without solution or with alarming loose ends, then these will now be caught up in the fast moving machinery of progress pushing towards greater efficiency or security of purpose. October signals the end of prevarication or indecision over important or corporate issues and there are deeper and more powerful levels of financial underpinning enabling tactics which propel you forwards in November and December to get more deeply involved in vocational matters or things you are drawn to pursue for your own interests. Either put up or shut up is the message as Christmas dawns. Be a salient voice for discovery and purpose or draw back and don’t get in the way.

The movement of Saturn in virgo loves people who are dedicated, and more than that: people who are dedicated with specialized talents in the cause.

The first four months of the year saw the previews come to an end and the real work begin. It is now the sorting and maintenance phase. No matter what the bag is - whether it is scientific and serious, humanitarian and heartfelt, or unique and uplifting ... the message is the same. Anything worth doing is worth doing well. Only those who aspire to this will stay the course, and only those who fully appreciate it are allowed to complete it.

Aries are not always able to understand why they cannot make their own rules, and often they just do and get clean away with it, and even manage to establish a few as law. But now is not one of those times. It might be better to adhere to the precedents or restrictions already in place until the second week of December reveals a black and white map of terms adding clarity and vision to what you are able to do and what you find possible without the assistance and monitoring of those with greater authority or knowledge. Until then curb your reluctance to suffer fools and their rhetoric, and see that the long-game will be to your greater advantage.

You will be able to discern this in December and feel the motion increasing, although the wider evidence of success is not apparent until next February.
