‘Future Matrix’

There should be a sign on astrologer’s doors, or that of psychics, mediums and clairvoyants: ‘Futures - no waiting’. Because the future is a very instant commodity. The mental and emotional planes of existence link to a common-denominator which eventually spearhead the two and this is called among other things, the causal plane. It is here that the unmanifest waits to become manifest and any idea or physical circumstance waits to be born. The unmanifest is created by thought and desire. Particularly by strong desire, which always engenders some kind of thought.

The most important fact that can be absorbed now in the metaphysical sense is that the future is not a fixed agenda - its a movable feast. It is being created and re-created as we proceed. The mental matrix is plasticine to the idea and the ideal and the aspiration of the moment. There is a great word which describes it: ‘presentness’. This says it all about the effects of the ‘eternal now’ - that wonderful condition which yogis and mystics and other seekers of spiritual harmony aspire to achieve.

The final say of the where’s and how’s and when’s of the mental matrix is something which is influenced by cosmological energy, or the planetary movements - hence the divinatory potential of astrology. But that is what astrology is; a diagnosis or a prognosis of something constantly on the move. Of something which itself may be hidden or unformed. It is not a picture carved in stone.

A lot of people now who study the new cosmology in its various forms, such as healing, transpersonal development etc, realise this fact. But a great number of the world’s population do not, can not, and have no hope of ever understanding the enormity of responsibility within the power of free will. It’s easier to believe in an unknowable fate or an implacable God.

There is a lot of publicity currently about a hypothesis (now a book) called ‘The Bible Code’ in which it is said that the global future is laid out in a numerical sequence hidden in words in The Bible. Impressive evidence is presented to support the claim, and it gives rise to a belief that powerful people (like certain political leaders) are destined to translate this future and save mankind.

If we look at it from the perspective of a perpetually regenerative universe, we see in fact that these plans/codes might just as easily have been laid by powerful mortals in past ages for others to follow. Rather like agents leaving clues for other agents. Thus creating the future to a certain design. The only question being whose design? And whose agents? Or is the code only in the mind of the researcher? But at what point does the mind of the researcher become part of history and the future matrix?

We should widen out the way we see these things. All things. Including the way our own mind, body and spirit is functioning. That is the only thing we are left to do in a an age when technically everything is seemingly done for us. The one thing we have to do is to understand inherent alternative possibilities within certain universally accepted myths and doctrines of historical tenet.

Unlocking the past influences the future. The past and the future are inexorably tied, through the development of individuals and into the collective psyche of humankind.

But whatever you do, don’t live in a climate of psychological fear. Fear conditions. It dictates the way you go and what you see. The universal consciousness believes with you, not for you, it reinforces for you what you believe about the world. If enough people believe the negatives of the current world to be carved in tablets of stone, irrefutable and inescapable then that is what will be created, both individually and globally. Don’t be caged in by ‘generic fear’.
